THE SHAPE OF RETIREMENT

Your retirement has a Shape.
Most people never see it.

Make retirement visible.

You’ve been given a single number.
But a number has no dimensions.

You've spent a lifetime building financial mass — accounts, property, the physical weight of your estate. But mass alone doesn't tell you how far the structure can hold.

You need to see how it behaves under the pressure of the future — to reveal its true shape.

That shape can widen in favorable markets and compress when markets fall in the years you need them most.

We model the boundaries so you can see what holds, what bends, and where risk begins. Boundaries turn noise into structure. They show what must be protected — and how far the plan may reach.

A number without boundaries is not a plan. It's a guess with decimal points.

Phase I / Data

Reveal the Shape.

Before you build the architecture, you draw the outline. The Sketch gives you a first look at the shape of your retirement — driven by your age, portfolio, time horizon, contributions, and market assumptions.

It does not answer everything. It shows whether the future you’re imagining is structurally plausible enough to explore more deeply.

Phase II / Architecture

Define the Mass.

Draft the full structure of your retirement reality—tax‑deferred accounts, Roth balances, taxable assets, income streams, property, and what you hope to leave behind.

You provide the physical weight of your life. The Studio builds the retirement structure it rests on.

Phase III / Tension

Apply the Pressure.

Your mass passes through Datum Intelligence and is projected forward across four independent modeling lenses, each approaching uncertainty differently. Together, they reveal how your retirement structure will widen, compress, or hold under the pressure of the future.

Datum Methodology & Assumptions

The Datum Intelligence engine reduces reliance on single, idealized projections by testing your plan across thousands of potential market environments and four distinct modeling lenses. The result is not a prediction. It is a modeled spending shape designed to show what your plan may support under different conditions.

Parametric Log-Normal

Generates 2,500 sequences using dynamically calculated drift and volatility. It assumes returns follow a log-normal distribution, providing a baseline spectrum of mathematical probabilities.

Empirical (1926-Present)

Samples 2,500 sequences directly from historical market data. By using actual historical years, this model preserves "fat-tail" risk and true sequence of returns crashes that pure math often smooths over.

CAPE Valuation Adjustment

Adjusts baseline expectations based on the starting Shiller PE ratio. If markets begin from historically elevated valuations, the engine applies a reversion-to-mean penalty to future returns.

Regime Bootstrap

Unlike random sampling, this model selects contiguous multi-year blocks (regimes) to accurately simulate prolonged periods of market stagnation or high inflation.

The Stress Battery

Calculates the Survival Floor by forcing your financial architecture through specific, severe historical periods without alteration. This includes the 1929 Great Depression, the 1970s Stagflation era, and the 2000-2008 Lost Decade. The battery helps identify the modeled Floor under severe historical stress.

Phase IV / Uncertainty

Structure the Noise.

Uncertainty doesn't disappear in retirement. Markets still move. Expenses still surprise. Life still changes its mind. What changes is your relationship to it.

When you know your Floor, you know the spending level modeled for resilience under severe market stress. When you know your Ceiling, you know how far favorable conditions may carry you. When you know your Datum, you have a fixed point to return to when everything else is moving.

That is not a number. That is a structure you can live inside.

Phase V / Measurement

Resolve the Shape.

Your shape does not answer one question and go quiet. Retire two years earlier — it compresses. Markets strengthen — it can widen. Taxes change — it bends. Increase your spending — your Datum moves, and the structure shows whether the plan still holds.

This is what it means to operate inside a structure you can see — a retirement structure you can trust. Modeled clarity, grounded in your actual numbers. Boundaries you can inspect. Decisions you can understand — and act on.
